Sonya Smith-Valentine Named one of the Top 10 Most Inspiring CEOs in Business

CIO Views Magazine has named our CEO Sonya Smith-Valentine to its list of the Top 10 Most Inspiring CEOs in Business.

According to CIO Views, “Most people like to see and follow a leader who is visibly more involved in most aspects of the business, whether it’s development, operations or marketing. … Today boards of directors, senior managers and investors want to know how CEOs handle the ups and downs of running a business over an extended period. Most of these professional executives start their journey at the bottom, and now how a title and the work that comes with it with pride as a true badge of honor.” The magazine dedicated their April 2022 issue to the most inspiring CEO and included Sonya on their list.

In the article, Sonya provided advice to prospective leaders:  Don’t be scared to seek assistance. “Mentors and accountability partners can be exceptional sources of guidance when you find yourself stuck. Seeking assistance is not a sign of weakness; it’s actually a sign of strength.”
