Founder and CEO Quoted in Grey Journal on How to Support Black Businesses

Congratulations to Financially Fierce Founder and CEO Sonya Smith-Valentine for being quoted in Grey Journal’s article entitled “5 Entrepreneurs Offer Wise Words on How to Support Black Businesses.”  David Romo from Grey Journal did an excellent job writing this piece.

The pandemic has hit Black businesses hard. Many are still struggling a year into COVID-19. We should do all that we can to help them survive.  “Being in this article is one of the ways I’m doing my part.” said Sonya Smith-Valentine. In the article, Sonya points out three ways individuals and companies can support Black businesses.  One important way is for companies to make Black businesses a part of their DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) efforts to have diverse vendors.
